Deadlines

• Tuition Support Plan submission window: January 1 – February 28, 2024. See Appendix N in the Collective Agreement and log into Queen’s HR Intranet for details: https://queensuca.sharepoint.com/sites/HR-employees/SitePages/Tuition-Support-Plan.aspx
• Fund for Scholarly and Creative Work and Professional Development (Adjuncts) application deadline: February 5, 2024. The application form is available here: https://www.queensu.ca/facultyrelations/qufa/research-fund 

If the above links for the Childcare and Tuition Support Plans do not work for you, try these steps:

• Visit Queen’s Benefits Page here: https://www.queensu.ca/humanresources/working-queens/benefits
• Click on “HR Intranet.”
• When you log into the system, click “Employees” in the top navigation bar.
• Hover over ‘Benefits” and find the appropriate fund in the drop-down menu.

If you have any problems accessing anything on the Queen’s HR Intranet system, please contact your HR Advisor as Queen’s Human Resources administers the system.

• QUFA launched a new Podcast series last December. Please check out Campus Conversations and our initial series on Intellectual Property (IP).
• The Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations (OCUFA) recently discontinued its agreement with the Edvantage program, which provided discounts and special offers on various products and services to faculty across Ontario. QUFA is in the process of re-connecting with Edvantage to continue to offer those deals to members.
