SUMMARY:Stop Hate on Campus - Virtual Town Hall
DESCRIPTION:Dear QUFA Members\, \nWe hope you can join us on Tuesday\, January 16th to attend a virtual Campus-Safety Town Hall entitled “Stop Hate on Campus!” The event will be facilitated by Wisdom 2 Action and runs from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. via Zoom \nThis event will explore the ways in which Queen’s community members can help respond to and stop acts of hate\, violence\, and oppression on Queen’s campus. After a short introduction and context setting\, participants will be divided into breakout rooms with facilitators to share thoughts on community-based approaches to campus safety. In your RSVP\, please indicate if you would like to be placed in a breakout room for Indigenous\, Black\, and racialized participants. \nThis Town Hall is open to all QUFA and PSAC 901 Members. \nPlease RSVP to Elizabeth Polnicky (ep43@queensu.ca) by 4:00 pm on Thursday January 11 for the Zoom link.
