National Day of Action for Tim Horton’s Workers

January 19 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Dear Brothers, Sisters, and Fellow Workers,

This Friday, January 19th at 5pm-6pm, Kingston will be participating in a national Day of Action for Tim Hortons workers. We will be gathering outside the location at Princess/MacDonnell (681 Princess st.) to send a strong message to the franchise owners: issuing rollbacks as a response to the minimum wage increase is not acceptable!

This franchise and 15 others are owned by one franchisee, Agnew Foods. We have confirmation that they have been cutting hours at their stores, eliminating paid breaks, and withdrawing from a joint health and dental plan (leaving the Tims workers to take on 100% of the payments).

Bring your union flags, bring signs, but most importantly, bring yourself to stand in solidarity with non-unionized workers!

All the best,
Lesley Jamieson
