We are very pleased to announce that 96% of QUFA members of the Queen’s Pension Plan who voted said yes to convert the pension and renew the collective agreement. This represents 75% of all Queen’s Pension Plan Members in QUFA. This is a clear mandate to move forward and build → Learn More
The University of Toronto Faculty Association concluded its vote to consent to convert to the University Pension Plan. 93.8% of those who voted said “Yes” (see here for more details: https://www.utfa.org/content/utfa-members-vote-yes-upp). QUFA and Queen’s, along with United Steelworkers on campus, and the folks at the University of Toronto and Guelph University, have designed a new, jointly sponsored pension plan called the University Pension Plan.
