The Tuition Support Plan provides post-secondary tuition support for the dependant children (under 25) and spouses or partners of eligible Queen's faculty and staff attending a university or college recognized under Universities Canada (formerly the Association of Universities and Colleges of Canada) or Colleges and Institutes Canada (formerly the Association of Canadian Community Colleges). Each year CAUT organizes a one-day lobby of federal Members of Parliament in support of post-secondary education. Parliament Hill Day (PHD) is an important opportunity for representatives of member associations to meet with their MPs in order to highlight the challenges facing post-secondary institutions and to identify ways the federal government can improve access and quality.
